Feel grounded and steady on your feet. Join us for a 6 week series to be held on Mondays. All sessions will be 60 minutes in length.

Cost: $89 for Members, $119 for Non-members

This 6 week series works to improve balance, build muscle strength, flexibility and mobility to enhance overall physical health, which leads to better functioning in daily activities. Participation in the program may also result in better mental health, reduced stress, improved memory and cognition, and increased self-esteem. Can’t commit to the 6 weeks? Class drop-ins are welcome!

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, falls account for the highest number of accidental injury deaths in adults 65 years and older. To address this concern, Type One Fitness is offering this Balance Training Series for our community. It is open to all ages and all levels. This series focuses on exercises that improve lower-body muscle strength, visual acuity, neck flexibility and ankle dexterity. Challenge your upper and lower body while incorporating more balancing moves to build a strong foundation.

Roe Blanchard, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer is leading this series in a safe and supported group setting which will provide participants the opportunity to feel engaged while having fun and making new friends.

The 6 Week Balance Training Series is suited for all fitness levels. Participants must be age 14 or older. This purchase is for a one (1) participant. All sales are final and non-refundable.
