Ready to elevate your cycling skills? Join our Power Cycle Program at Type One Fitness for a focused 6-week course designed to increase your strength, endurance, and speed. Suitable for all levels, this program, led by expert Beth York, blends Functional Threshold Power (FTP) testing with progressive training for a customized approach.
How It Works
- FTP Testing
Functional Threshold Power (FTP) testing helps you set a personalized baseline by measuring the maximum power you can sustain for an hour. FTP testing, an essential training tool, provides data to create a training plan that’s tailored to you. Learn more about FTP. - Progressive Training Plan
The program’s structure builds each week, balancing high- and low-intensity sessions. This structure increases both your aerobic capacity and cycling power over time. Throughout the course, we monitor your performance and adjust your plan as needed. Weekly adjustments ensure you stay on track to get stronger, faster, and fitter by the end of the 6 weeks. With regular feedback and support, you’ll see real results.
About Beth York
Beth York, an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, National Esports Champion, and Ironman World Finisher 2024, will guide each class. Her expertise ensures a safe, engaging, and fun group experience, where you can connect with fellow riders while progressing toward your fitness goals.

This course is open to participants age 14 and older. Non-members, please email info@typeonefitness.org to register. Members may register directly online. All sales are final and non-refundable.
