Access for Everyone
Type One Fitness believes that cost should not prevent someone from pursuing better health, connection, and support.
Through our Access for Everyone program, reduced membership rates may be available to qualifying individuals and households based on household income, individual circumstances, available funding, and other eligibility criteria. Financial assistance is made possible through charitable contributions to Type One, Inc.
How to Apply
Click Apply Now to complete the online financial assistance application.
Applicants must provide all required household income documentation, which may include a recent tax return, pay stubs, or other supporting information. Applications will not be approved, and reduced membership rates will not begin, until all required documentation has been received and reviewed.
Once the completed application and supporting documentation have been reviewed, the applicant will be notified of the decision and any approved membership rate.
Financial assistance is awarded for a limited period and must be renewed annually. Eligibility requirements, assistance levels, membership rates, and available funding are subject to change.
For help completing the application, visit the Welcome Center, call 781-987-1393, or email info@typeonefitness.org.

Medical Holds
Memberships may be placed on hold for up to three months for documented medical reasons. Supporting medical documentation may be required. No administrative hold fee will be charged for an approved medical hold.
Non-Medical Holds
Non-medical membership hold requests are considered individually and require prior approval. Approved non-medical holds are subject to a $20 monthly administrative fee.
Membership holds are not automatic and must be approved before billing is suspended.
To request a membership hold, visit the Welcome Center or call 781-987-1393.

A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required to cancel a membership. Cancellation requests cannot be accepted by telephone, email, or through the website.

Members who cancel and later rejoin will be responsible for the current joiner fee and will enroll at the membership rates and terms available at that time.
Member Rates for Special Programs
To receive the member rate for a Type One Fitness program, your membership must remain active, current, and in good standing throughout the entire program session.
If a membership is canceled, placed on hold, or otherwise becomes inactive before the program ends, the participant will be responsible for the difference between the member and non-member rates for the remaining portion of the program.
