Learn to Lift Program for Youth (Ages 13-18) – Cultivating Lifelong Skills and Confidence for a Promising Future
6 Weeks – Thursdays 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Type One Fitness is dedicated to nurturing the potential of our youth and equipping them for a promising future. To fulfill this commitment, we’ve introduced the Learn to Lift Program tailored for individuals aged 13 – 18. This program is designed to instill lifelong skills and essential weightlifting principles. Upon completing the program, participants will leave with the self-assurance to further cultivate these newfound skills and valuable life lessons.
Learn To Lift is an experiential fitness education program aimed at teaching students how to safely incorporate barbell lifts with proper technique into a strength training program.
Cost: $89 for Members, $119 for Non-members

The Learn to Lift Program is designed for teenagers aged 13 to 18 who want to learn proper weightlifting techniques and incorporate them into their strength training routines. Here are some key points about this program. The program aims to teach students how to safely perform barbell lifts with proper form and technique. It runs for 6 weeks, with one session per week. Led by certified personal trainers, the program covers essential lifts such as squats and deadlifts. Participants learn about posture, balance, and control during these exercises. By participating in this program, teenagers can build strength, improve fitness, and gain confidence in their weightlifting abilities.

This program is guided by Joe Bowie, a Certified Fitness Instructor, ACSM Personal Trainer, and Clinical Exercise Physiologist with expertise in Sport and Exercise Science.
The Learn to Lift Program is suited for all fitness levels. Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18. This purchase is for a one (1) participant. All sales are final and non-refundable.
