Both are educators at Type One Fitness. Jeff Smith, Race Director for Outsider Endurance, a New England based multi-sport and adventure racing company, will also be presenting. Experience New England’s favorite half-distance triathlon, the Patriot Half! Join the ranks of thousands who have made it their inaugural half-distance triathlon and the hundreds who return year after year.
Mark your calendars for this year’s race on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the scenic Cathedral Camp in East Freetown, MA. Celebrating its 18th year, the Patriot Half has earned acclaim, being named “Best Small Race” (less than 1,000 athletes) thrice in the “Triathlete’s Choice Awards” and securing the title of “Best Triathlon” in the Best of Competitor Awards (Northeast).
The race unfolds with a 1.2-mile swim in Long Pond, the largest freshwater body in Massachusetts, followed by a 54-mile bike course offering picturesque roads with gentle hills. The final leg is a 13.1-mile run through country roads, farms, and lakes, complete with aid stations to keep you energized. Our commitment to the little things sets our events apart and ensures a memorable experience. Don’t miss the Patriot Half – where excellence meets endurance!
This insightful training and social mixer is open to individuals aged 14 with suggested minimum donation of $20 to support the Type One Cares campaign would be greatly appreciated.
